Is Suffering Required for True Enlightenment?

Some of our favorite stories and inspirers and heros are those that have suffered great atrocities and lived to tell about it or lived to tell how it helped them access their God withIn. Why do we love these stories? What in our current timephase are we wanting to re-live through other’s experience? What does it mean for our evolution as humans? Must there be suffering and “dark nights of the soul” to experience true enlightenment? This topic has been a curiosity of mine and I’m looking forward to this discussion and the insights to be shared in this important message.
