It still wasn’t good enough because both live mics were on top of each other, leading me to do a voice over for big sections of this message. For a “free message” this didn’t out to be very free in terms of my time and money but I chose to do it because I LOVE what we all did with this message ~ knowing we all help create this work. Before: Sorry about the interference ~ somehow one participant’s mic was live :-( I know how to adjust it next time and apologize for the poor audio quality for some of it. Update on the audio problem: I’ve had two professional freelance audio engineers play with this and it isn’t fixable. Sigh :-( But, there is some good news… I’m sensing that when the participant’s open mic is all that you hear it is because I had muted myself (my cough)… so, if all you hear is the participant and not me, then I wasn’t speaking anyway. But, I appreciate that having both mics open did create feedback that is annoying and makes it more difficult to hear. Sorry about this. I imagine I will never let this little Zoom conferencing quirk bite me in the ass again and I’m sorry it happened. As a gifted message, that gives me some comfort (at least you didn’t pay for a poor sound quality recording). Still, for someone is led to create a transcript of this message (assuming you can hear it well enough to do so), I’d receive it gratefully and post it here for others to enjoy. XOxo, Jill

This recording had an echo and it includes all the dialog & reactions/responses from someone else. Very distracting. Do you have a cleaner audio of today’s message by chance? Thank you.

    Update: This felt like such an important message that I’ve hired a freelance audio expert to do what he can to improve the audio file and reduce the participant’s live mic noise. Will post the updated file when I have it. It won’t be perfect but it should be much better. I am so bummed that this happened, especially since I could’ve just hit “mute all” on participants had I noticed the live mic. Alas, I was focused on the message. Let’s hope the audio expert can make some magic happen. For $75 USD, it’s worth a shot :-)
